The goal of the Mojave Public Utility District is to provide our customers with safe and dependable water supply and wastewater services.  MPUD has six wells.  Wells 21 and 22 are located in the Chaffee Subunit and wells 6, 7, 8, and 9 are in the Cameron Flat area.  Supplementary water may be purchased from Antelope Valley East-Kern Water Agency.  AVEK treats surface water from the State Water Project (California Aqueduct).  MPUD is pleased to report that our drinking water is safe and meets all Federal and State requirements.
